This is the cutest video of Stephen making Caisen laugh. It went on for minutes and minutes. I LOVE THEM!

A Hawaiian definitely DID NOT make this stupid chair!
Check this video out. It's pretty funny and I am about 99% sure that a hawaiian didn't make this chair.
Also, to add to that nonsense...who ever came up with the "hawaiian" pizza or burger just because it has pineapples? Doesn't make sense to me.

Weekend Highlights!
Friday our power went out. For a long time. BOO! But we planned to go out and stay with Stephen's brother and sister in law, thankfully. We always have fun with them!!!
Saturday we all went the the AT&T Classic PGA Golf Tournament. It was the perfect day to be out in the sun all day. It was mid 70's and cool enough to get a tan and not burn. We all had fun looking at all the HUGE million dollar homes. They were amazing! Overall, we enjoyed ourselves:) And sadly, I have no clue which golfers were there. All I know is that there wasn't Tiger...the only PGA golfer I know.
Sunday I was able to give Jamie Tyson's shoes. It was soo good to know that she loved them. I am so glad that she has the same style as I do for our boys, and that she understands why I am so picky about what Caisen wears. Also, that night Stephen and I ordered our new cell phones. I can't wait to get mine. They should be here on Tuesday! Stephen got a new 8330 Blackberry Curve and I got a PINK Centro. They are both really small and slim. These phones have everything we really wanted! We also got it with data, which I am so happy to have the internet on my phone now. I'm excited for it them to get here:)

Look who's crawling!
Caisen is officially 6 months as of yesterday and this past week he has learned the art of crawling. It really seems to just have happenned over night. I've been rudely awakened to see how 'not' childproof my house is...and how I have a lot of changes to make now. About a month and a half ago I told Stephen that at that time, that this was my favorite stage of infancy where your baby doesn't talk back to you, or try to negotiate with you, he doesn't wake up every 3 hours in the middle of the night, and when dinner needs to be cooked you can set him down knowing that he can go anywhere and get into everything. Well, that stage is long gone.
Here are a few pictures of Caisen crying because he doesn't know how to get out of the mess he got into under our end tables.

Here are a couple more pictures of him crawling over the wrought iron base of our coffee table. UGH!
Here is a video of him getting over the wrought iron under our coffee table...and as you can see, Stephen and I have both got a lot of trouble on our hands now.
Here is another video of him crawling at his 6 month check up yesterday.
Lastly...here is a pic for Jamie to see Caisen's new kicks! You can't really tell what they are in this pic but still, aren't they so cool? I know you'd appreciate them:)

Stephen is the best hubby ever!
So I got in Wednesday night from Washington. Caisen did extremely well on the flights! He is such a GREAT traveler, everyone on the the airplane just loved on him and complimented how wonderful he was. That night Caisen slept through the night for the FIRST time since I'd been gone. He's a great sleeper when he's in his bed but whenever we're out and about he doesn't do well. Those past 3 weeks of traveling felt like I had a newborn on my hands...he woke up 3-4 times every night. I was really worried that I'd have to teach him how to sleep through the night again, but I didn't. What a good boy!
Thursday morning I woke up at 8:30am and Stephen was still in bed. I freaked out and told him that he was late for work and he said "Surprise! I took today off!". I didn't believe him at first, but he really did. I was soo happy and excited! We had a wonderful day going to Costco to stock up on food again and to Babies R Us and Wal-Mart. We always have fun wherever we go, I love that about us. That night we fed Caisen rice cereal for the very first time. He was too cute! He really likes it. Here are pics of him eating...you can see that he is just adoring Stephen as he eats because he doesn't take his eyes off of him. I bet he was just happy to be with daddy again!

Friday morning Stephen didn't have to go to work again. It was so nice to sleep in and snuggle with him. It felt like a Saturday. I had planned to have a lunch date with Audrey a few days earlier and when I found out Stephen took Friday off, I told him I'd cancel my lunch date so that I could spend time with him...but he insisted that I go to lunch with her and that he'd stay home with Caisen. Well, when she got to our home, Stephen went into the room to change and when he came out he was dressed nicely, so I said, "Oh, are you going to go out with Caisen?" and he said, "No, I'm going to take you out to lunch!". So ends up, Audrey was in on this surprise and came to babysit Caisen while Stephen took me out to lunch and spend some alone time with me. It was a such a nice and needed surprise. We went to eat and then went to buy me new running shoes and him a new Forerunner 350 watch from R.E.I. It's a pretty cool gadget that he has. I'm excited to use it...I'll have to write a blog about it. Anyway, so that night we went to the Rygmyr's for an Office Party! I love them and we had a blast there!
Saturday we went to my in laws, to the McLoeds, to my neighbors birthday bbq and then Stephen's brother and sister in law came over. We had fun with them and I won playing Phase 10 with them! BOO YAH! lol.
Sunday was mothers day and I had a great day! Stephen did everything for me! I love that. He's an amazing husband and dad. Everyone that knows me knows how much I absolutely adore him and now I get to see Caisen adore him just as much! It's way too cute!
Today Stephen had to go back to work. I miss him already. A lot. I had so much fun this past weekend with him. He is always full of surprises for me! I love that! Just like the trampoline I asked him to get me...and he did. He's the best hubby and daddy ever. We just love him!!!

My Trip!
I can't believe it's over and I'm finally home...and though I miss my family and friends a lot, it feels great to be home as a family again. Caisen and I missed Stephen a lot and we are so glad to be with him again.
In Hawaii the weather was beautiful! There were a few days of vog but overall it was absolutely beautiful! Since I was born and raised in Hawaii I've really taken forgranted the beauties that Heavenly Father has blessed me with growing up until I've moved away from home (coming up on 3 years!). I've learned to appreciate the bright beautiful rainbows, and the gracefully swaying palm trees, and the greenery year around. I miss seeing the ocean from my home and the sun rising and setting on the horizon of the sea. It truly is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It's so nice to go back and appreciate all the things I didn't acknowledge growing up. And I really miss the island culture there. Everyone is so laid back and chill. Nothing is ever formal and everyone will greet you with a hug and kiss on the cheek. We're all family on that island. I miss being at family get togethers with uncle kanikapila'ing...and all the little kids singing and dancing to it. I miss being able to talk to anyone and everyone...and then finding out that you're some how related. I miss wearing my slippers everywhere and my swimsuit everyday. I miss home so much! Moving away has really helped me learn who I am and where I come from. Moving away has really helped me love my disfuntional family for who they are...especially knowing that I am a part of that family and that they've helped shape me into the person I am today. I love Hawaii and calling it home! Some of my fondest memories will forever be there and I hope that one day Caisen and all my future children will learn to love the culture that I grew up in.
After Hawaii I was able to stay in Washington for a few days with my best friend and her family. I had such a wonderful time there. She and I have known each other for forever. We can't even remember the first time we met and thankgoodness for the gospel that has kept us friends this long. I had so much fun talking with her about our new lives away from Hawaii. I am so grateful that she and I understand each other so well and that we can relate to eachother with our families and situations we're in now. We also had a blast watching our 2 boys play with each other. Her son is 2 months older than Caisen, and he is SO CUTE. I also had fun reminiscing with her about our wild high school and college days!!! I was actually 3rd wheel on her and her husbands VERY first date! Good times. While I was there we were able to go to downtown Seattle and to Pikes Market. It was really cool to be on the harbor there and to see how beautiful Seattle is. I didn't really know what to expect, but seeing all the lakes and all the greenery around...it was beautiful. All I ever hear is that the suicide rate is higher up there because of all the rain...but I don't know why. It's beautiful!!! I loved seeing the Victorian style homes on the mountains and seeing the old brick roads in the city and the floating bridges. It was an amazing experience to be there! My best friend and her in laws were great hosts!!!
Here are more pics of my trip! Enjoy!!!
