My OCD with always having a house "project"

Well if you don't know me well, I have a serious OCD with always having to be busy. My whole pregnancy I was moving furniture, painting and just being antsy or ADD. Anyway, so my biggest OCD recently has been upgrading/improving our house. Before we moved in I completely redesigned our bathrooms and had them shredded apart and completely redone and I mean redone, walls moved and sheet rocked, new vanities, tile...pretty much everything but the toilets. Then after we moved in I was able to detail them, paint and decorate them with custom shower curtains, valence(noticeabl nancy)...etc. Anyway, after all that we completely redid our master bedroom with furniture, crown, chair rail, paint, custom drapes(noticeable nancy again!), the whole nine yards. Then, we spent a month on Caisen's oh so cute nursery:) Which I absolutely loved painting. Afther that we did the whole living/dining area with paint and decor. That was a crazy venture being that we have vaulted ceilings, and Stephen was not happy with me that I made him paint for over 6 hours. Anyway, after that I built nightstands for our bedroom...and a dining table for our kitchen....yada yada yada. And now I'm here bragging about just completing Caisen's super adorable bathroom. It's WAY too cute! It took me a little over 3 days to complete it and I love it. I taped off the stripes for painting and it jacked up the walls when I pulled it off so I had to pretty much free hand half the stripes in the bathroom. I was not happy about that. I must say that I did paint Capt'n Caisen on the wall...yes the peg leg and hook:) And his face is actually the hand towel holder and wasn't supposed to look like he's smoking something. Oh well, he's still adorable. Well the only thing missing is his shower curtain that's currently in the mail on it's way over. But other than that his adorable bathroom makes me want to shower in it every night:)

Next project... the kitchen! New floors, cabinets, lighting, everything:) And hopefully really soon ya Stephen!

Tag!

I was tagged by Aunty Maile:) Here you go.
Quirk: a peculiarity of action, behavior, or personality; mannerism.

ACTION:

1. I love to surprise others. Stephen knows very well how much I love surpising him!

2. Is say "oh ya" and "ya ya ya" way too much out of habit.

3. I am a hard worker. And I don't stop till it's finished. I hate starting something that I can't finish and put away and clean up....like scrapbooking.

BEHAVIOR:

4. I always cut Stephen off mid sentence because I get so excited way to easily. It annoys him pretty bad. And I always think that I know what he's thinking.

5. It's really easy to make me laugh...even when I'm mad. Therefore I laugh at everyone and everything and even at the wrong times.

6. I am OCD about certain things. I have to wipe off all the water around our sink and faucet. And when I wash my hands I can't stand it if the faucet spout is too close to the back of the bowl and my hands end up touching it.

PERSONALITY:

7. I am very laid back and very up tight at the same time. It's both ends of the spectrum...two extremes with no happy medium. Therefore I am very easy to please and hard to upset...but when I am upset and unhappy, I am extrememly upset and unhappy. It's not very often though.

7. I forgive way to easily and yet I don't trust anyone. Again, both ends of the spectrum. Good and bad thing. I have lots of friends because I don't get offended easily and I forget quickly, but I also blame myself for everything when I do get hurt and offended because I think that I should've known better than to trust someone.

8. I think people should never forget their kindergarten manners like, please, thank you, excuse me, I'm sorry...etc. Especially after they burp or do things like that.

9 I am one of those moms who thinks she can do everything by herself. I don't like to ask for help if I don't have too.

MANNERISM:

10. I make our bed everyday! I cannot stand it when it isn't made and I've got Stephen to make our bed when if/when he gets out after I do. Which isn't often.

11. I love to paint. Call me crazy but I do. It's therapeutic to me. Our guest room has been painted 4 times already since we've been our house.

12. I have a habit of always having to be busy. I am not a homebody and I love to be outdoors doing things. Or I always have to have a project to do...whether it's building something like our nightstands and dining room table, or sewing, or drafting a new project...or anything like that. (I watch wayy to much HGTV and I am a very known customer at Home Deopt.)

I tag Tiff, Audrey, Sara, Lori, Adriana, Vania, Lauren Nagel.

Florida!

This past weekend we went to Panama City with Stephen's brother David and sister-in-law Tiffany. We had so much fun that we came home a day early:) Tiff and I missed our babies way to much. This was the first time I was away from Caisen for a long period of time, and I think that it was the first time for Tiff. Though we love our husbands and the romantic time we had with them, it was time for us to get back to our kids.

My super studs!!!

Here are pictures of Caisen and Stephen being their happy-selves. They definitely are my studs! I couldn't ask for more. I have the best family!!

This is Caisen happy after he ate a banana all by himself!

Here he is being mischevious as he got into Aunt Nessa's ice cream while she wasn't looking!

And he left no proof of it either!!!

Fussing at the new gate we finally put up!

Saying "ba-ba" to daddy as he leaves for work:(

Watching daddy mow the grass!

This is one of my favorites!

Playing with his cheerios box! (He likes that better than his toys! Figures.)

Caisen and dad at the pool!

Passed out with his arm hanging out of his crib.

This is his manly face!

Caisen & Ainsley!

Talk about opposites!
