Another house project:)

So here are pictures of the actual shower curtain in Caisen's bathroom. I made the valence over it for less than $10. AMAZING! And I love how it all turned out.

Also here are pictures of our "new" deck doors. They had old tin type blinds on it that were hideous not to mention the fact that the whole bottom of them were all bent out of shape from Caisen. I finally decided to take them off because it's a pain to keep telling Caisen "NO" when he touches them...so I just took them down. I ended up taping off the glass into crisscross stripes and spray painting them with Rustoleum's Frosted Glass(Home Depot $5/can) which is great because it isn't permanent and you can remove it with acetone if you don't like it. I also painted the doors black(Lowes Satin Black/Black Base Paint $15/quart) because I wanted them to totally pop out and they did:) All together it costed me about $25. Not too bad for a total redo of the doors huh

Crazy Caisen!

So a few updates. Caisen just cut his very first tooth a month ago and a couple weeks ago he cut his second tooth as you can see. It's so fun seeing him grow and become a little wing man to Stephen, but it's kind of sad that he's not my little newborn baby anymore.
No teeth.

2 teeth.

Here are some things that he loves doing!
- Getting into our pots and pans cupboard and sitting/crawling in and out of the pans. And taking out every pot lid possible and crawling with them in his hands and sliding all over the kitchen floor.
- Sneaking into the bathrooms when the door is left open and splashing the water in the toilet. And emptying everything under the sink and in the drawers like bandaids, hairspray, brushes, all my hair pins! and much more!
- Crawling under our wrought iron end tables and getting stuck in it. Then screaming till one of us rescues him.
- Crawling completely in the fireplace and coming out with black dusty little fingers and toes.
- Trying his hardest to get the childproof covers off. Which he has succeeded at with 1 specific outlet in our home.
- Feeding himself! I usually put a peice of banana or macaroni noodle on his spoon and he'll try and try till he gets it in his mouth. He's getting pretty good at it.
- Bath time! He loves loves LOVES his bath time. Anything and everything that has to do with water he loves.
- Climbing up onto our sofa while were sitting there or even onto our coffee table, as you can see in some pics. He definitely has a look of satisfaction when he finally gets on top.
- Turning the TV off. He's pro at this.
- Laundry! (I'm training him young) He loves throwing his clothes into the washer and I always sit him on the dryer right before I start it so that he can feel it move...which he doesn't like very much.
Squashing his face on the coffee table. I took the pic from underneath. It was pretty funny to see.

my sweetheart!

So on Wednesday and Thursday I had rough days with things that have been going on and Thursday night when Stephen got home from work he had roses and m&m's for me to cheer me up! And it really did work. I am so grateful for my sweetheart who is so thoughtful of me. I really love this whole being married to your best friend thing:)
