Updates!

Time for some updates...
1. A couple weekends ago the partner on one of Stephen's clients took everyone on that team to Ernst and Youngs executive suite at the Phillips Arena.  We got to eat and cheer for the Hawks who played the Pistons.  It was my first NBA game and it was FUN!  I love watching live basketball and anyone who's gone with me to a game will say that I am loud.  But what's new?!  It was a great date night and we had a blast being kid-free for a few hours.  Oh the perks of corporate life:)
This is a picture of one of the half time shows, look closely for the guy flipping mid air before he dunks it.  Pretty impressive.

2.  Caisen is officially done with all of his burn appointments!  No more burn surgeons, burn nurses, physical therapists and 4 hour appointments!  We are so blessed!  The burn team was very shocked at how quickly he's healed(7.5mos since the accident).  They really thought that he'd need skin grafting and more therapy.  His scarring is minimal and he will most likely get most of his coloring back.  Some may not come back, but that's ok.  He's healthy and happy and that's all we ask for!  He also doesn't need to wear his "cool sock"!  What a blessing this has all been in our lives!
3.  Anela is crawling!!!  YAY!  She is so much happier mobile and so is mommy.  Caisen doesn't like that she can get a hold of his toys or bust down his lego castles but they'll both learn to share and play together in time.  She'll be 8 months tomorrow and I cannot believe it!  How time flies.

4.  We have been teaching Caisen about our Prophet, President Thomas S. Monson...and he can't seem to get over the idea of calling him "President Thomas the choo choo train monsoon":)  It's really cute.  He's even gone as far as calling him "tommy the choo choo train monsoon."  We're working on it slowly.
5.  We went to Touch-a-Truck in downtown Kennesaw this past weekend.  It's an awesome activity for kids because they let a bunch of companies bring in their big work machines and all the kids get to sit inside, honk the horns and touch everything.  They had an ambulance, fire truck, tractors, military vehicles, cement truck, 16 wheelers, school buses and many more. We couldn't have asked for better weather.  Living in Kennesaw there are TONS of fun activities for families.  It is such a safe city to live in!  Here are pictures of the things we saw.

6. Oh and last but definitely not least, Caisen is potty trained!!!  It has been a success with him.  It took about 10 days to get it down and now we are good to go!  1 less in diapers is a wonderful expense to get rid of!!

Sunny day!

Today was BEAUTIFUL!  It truly was.  It brought back hope and excitement for the spring and summer that is about to creep up on us.  I can't wait!  Caisen and I celebrated by grilling out some burgers and eating out in the sun on the back deck.  I swear the burgers tasted even better in the sun!  While I grilled, Caisen played with his cars...and his stroller.  Yes, HIS stroller!  Stephen died when I bought it for him, but it's great for his imagination and it's not like he's pretending to be a girl.  This is what he puts in his stroller and you should really see how he pushed it, or shoves it around, literally!  He tries to push it around and pretend like he's driving/offroading it! He'll put it on the sofa and then let it kamikaze dive bomb off!  It's pretty fun and he cracks up when he does it!  He truly is "all boy"!
